A young huntsman is helped by a golden mare when he tries to perform the seemingly impossible feats commanded by the Tsar. Brave deeds and wondrous magic come together in a lush retelling of a classic Russian folktale. With the mare's help, Alexi becomes the Tsar's best huntsman, and she helps him with several impossible tasks.
