Description
"This first film with Ken Howard illustrates the very special quality of his work. With his strong sense of tone and use of light, we see him paint some of his favorite subjects. Working in his studio in Cornwall with two different models, he paints figurative subjects, using the light shining in through the windows to stunning effect. In addition, we see him working outside on two different scenes. Firstly a view of Mousehole harbour with boats at anchor and then Sennen Beach in the evening light, painted "contrajour" with the sun shining through brightly colored windbreaks."--Container.
